This is done from top to toe making the gown a good weight when you lift it but once on it perfectly balances and feels comfortable

It is not so heavy that it is unwieldy but it of a weight that when on the shape you see is held perfectly

The too are elastic until just above the elbow and then they puff out until they are cinched back in at each wrist

The base is a silk-cotton mix with a slight polished look to it

Bust: stretches 15-18" flat across from side seam to side seam

I am not normally a huge fan of velvets but for some reason the edgy mix of the black edged silver lame detailing puts this gown into a category all on its own. It is cut to hug every curve and follow the lines of the girl wearing it. It has a sexy rounded and scooped bodice that gives it an Old Hollywood feel and I love how the silver detailing is set so it trails up and over the top
