The way the paper and marble has worn over years to create this beautiful surface that only time and use delivers. Always a privilege to study and own. I love to use them as base boards for styling and photography. They also look lovely leant on a shelf or mantle like a painting or as part of a still life. This board measures 27. 5cm x 21cm Early 1800's.
